Senior Specialist, Data Engineering and Analytics

What you'll do

• Build, maintain, and enhance data pipelines, transformations, curated datasets, and analytical outputs.
• Deliver dashboards, reporting, and analytical tools to improve visibility and decision support.
• Investigate data issues and partner with teams to improve data quality, completeness, and usability.
• Translate business questions into technical requirements, logic, and fit-for-purpose data outputs.
• Improve accessibility of manufacturing and process data through preparation and contextualization of datasets.
• Document data structures, business logic, and technical approaches to ensure sustainability and reuse.
• Support the deployment and user adoption of analytics tools and reporting capabilities.
• Ensure all work complies with quality and documentation expectations in a regulated environment.

What we're looking for

• Hold a BSc/BEng/Masters or higher in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Data Science, IT, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Possess five years of experience with a BSc/BEng or three years of experience with a Master's degree.
• Have relevant experience in data engineering, analytics, manufacturing systems, technical operations, or related technical roles.
• Possess working knowledge of manufacturing, process, or operational data in pharmaceutical, biotech, or similarly regulated environments.
• Have experience with data preparation, transformation, pipeline development, analytics tools, dashboards, or reporting solutions.
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills to work across business and technical teams in a matrixed environment.
• Experience with platforms such as DataLynx, SEEQ, MPI, MES, historians, or similar technologies (preferred).
• Ability to travel to manufacturing sites as required, estimated at less than 10% of the time (preferred).
