What you'll do

Design and implement cloud services to provision and manage satellite entities using AWS technologies.
Develop provisioning workflows to orchestrate the full entity lifecycle from launch to test-readiness.
Build and extend QEMU-based hardware emulation plugins for satellite subsystem behaviors.
Design automated monitoring, alarming, and self-healing mechanisms to maintain high platform availability.
Develop tooling to enable test execution across virtualized satellites, hardware-in-the-loop flatsats, and on-orbit vehicles.
Implement pre-validation, fail-fast patterns, and retry mechanisms to improve provisioning reliability.
Drive root cause analysis on platform failures and build regression prevention into the system.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Experience designing, building, operating, and managing large-scale distributed systems or web services.
Experience with Linux operating systems and at least one object-oriented language (Java, Python, TypeScript, or Rust).
