What you'll do

Develop device drivers and board support packages (BSP) for custom embedded systems.
Diagnose and debug complex hardware-software boundary issues.
Develop software to test manufactured circuit boards and identify design or manufacturing flaws.
Participate in peer reviews to identify, track, and repair software defects.
Support all phases of the software development life cycle from requirements analysis to formal test.
Investigate root causes of complex technical issues and implement independent or team-based solutions.
Develop software test plans, procedures, and other relevant technical documentation.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship with an Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 6+ years of experience in software development.
At least 4+ years of experience developing and debugging drivers, BSPs, bootloaders, bare-metal applications, or other low-level embedded systems.
Experience developing embedded systems in C/C++, assembly, and/or Rust.
Experience developing embedded Linux systems.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proven experience developing device drivers and BSPs for modern RTOSs (Integrity, VxWorks, Zepher, seL4, Yocto) (preferred).
