Senior Software Engineer, Security

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and operate production security services and features for software supply chain security.
• Build automated security assurance tools using agentic and LLM-driven analysis with evaluation harnesses.
• Develop systems for dependency risk management, build integrity, and artifact signing and verification.
• Create policy-based admission systems to enforce security controls at deployment or runtime.
• Integrate security controls into existing developer workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and operate distributed backends, including APIs and data pipelines with high uptime requirements.
• Conduct research, prototyping, and code reviews to ensure high software quality standards.
• Own significant software components end-to-end from design through production monitoring.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including production ownership of non-trivial systems.
• Proficiency in at least two of the following languages: Python, Go, or Java.
• Solid knowledge of software supply chain security, including dependency risk, build integrity, artifact signing, and policy-based admission.
• Experience designing, building, and operating production agentic systems and LLM-integrated applications.
• Experience designing and operating distributed backends, APIs, and data pipelines with high uptime and performance requirements.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and integrating security controls into them.
• Proficiency in shell scripting (e.g., Bash) and comfort operating in Linux and macOS environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in a related field (preferred).
