The Senior Security Software Engineer joins the Developer Security team to address complex, ambiguous problems spanning multiple systems and teams. This role focuses on designing and evolving internal platforms, shared services, and infrastructure to improve scalability, reliability, and developer experience while ensuring secure operations at scale. You will lead cross-cutting technical initiatives, establish engineering patterns for observability, and make architectural decisions regarding performance and cost. The work involves a polyglot environment requiring proficiency in Node.js, .NET, Rust, PHP, React, Angular, Next.js, and TypeScript. Additionally, you will manage infrastructure using Kubernetes, AWS (EKS, ECS/Fargate), GitLab CI, and ArgoCD. You will solve technical challenges related to system integrity and fair play by building automated tools and workflows that remove friction for engineers while maintaining high-availability standards in a large-scale production environment.

What we're looking for
10+ years of experience building and operating distributed systems at scale.
Proven track record of delivering complex technical initiatives across multiple teams or domains.
Strong software engineering fundamentals with proficiency in at least one modern programming language and ability to work across others.
Experience designing or evolving platform-level systems, internal developer platforms, or shared infrastructure.
Solid understanding of SRE principles including observability, SLIs/SLOs, incident management, and system health.
Experience with modern delivery practices such as Infrastructure-as-Code and automated pipelines.
Ability to navigate ambiguity, define problems, and drive solutions without detailed direction.
Experience building or scaling internal developer platforms or self-service tooling (preferred); experience in security or compliance domains (preferred).
