Senior Software Engineer, On-Device Health Agentic Systems

What you'll do

• Architect and build high-performance iOS applications that serve as the primary interface for on-device LLM agents.
• Design scalable, power-efficient software architectures for integrating AI systems into the Apple ecosystem.
• Develop client-side frameworks to manage on-device inference, context management, and tool execution.
• Build and iterate on interactive prototypes to explore new user interactions and architectural options.
• Translate research-driven machine learning models into tangible features within consumer-facing mobile applications.
• Drive the technical roadmap for the architecture of on-device AI systems.
• Optimize on-device components using techniques like model quantization and caching.

What we're looking for

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience building high-performance, consumer-facing mobile applications and frameworks.
• Expert proficiency in a modern systems programming language such as C++, Objective-C/Swift, or Rust.
• Deep understanding of mobile system fundamentals including concurrency, memory management, and power optimization.
• Practical knowledge of LLM-powered systems, including prompt engineering, agent frameworks, or RAG architectures.
• Experience with on-device ML frameworks like Core ML or Foundation Model.
• Proficiency in SwiftUI and modern iOS architectural patterns.
• Knowledge of model quantization, caching, and other on-device optimization techniques.
• Experience with multi-platform development for both iOS and macOS.
