Senior Software Engineer, Meta Factory Agent Harness

What you'll do

• Shape the technical direction of the Agent Harness regarding execution, tool use, context, and lifecycle management.
• Define clear interfaces and standards for interactions between agents, tools, and the Meta Factory.
• Evaluate emerging agent runtime and tool-use patterns to determine the best approaches for Adobe.
• Build reusable architecture patterns for secure, scalable, and maintainable agentic systems.
• Lead cross-team technical work to resolve complex design challenges across Meta Factory and partner teams.
• Share expertise through design documents, technical reviews, and internal forums.
• Mentor engineers working on agentic systems and new execution patterns.

What we're looking for

• 12+ years of software engineering experience delivering high-impact systems used by multiple teams or products.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, runtime design, and platform architecture.
• Experience building agentic systems, LLM infrastructure, developer platforms, or other AI-enabled systems.
• Proven ability to design scalable systems that balance near-term delivery with long-term maintainability, security, and operational reliability.
• Experience leading complex technical work across teams, including design reviews, implementation planning, and technical decision-making.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing design documents and sharing technical knowledge.
• Experience mentoring engineers and building team confidence with new execution patterns and infrastructure.
