What you'll do

Develop and maintain core security services for managing workload identities across cloud resources.
Build and operate large-scale, highly available, and fault-tolerant distributed systems using Golang.
Define and advocate for standardized minimum security requirements across the organization.
Guide engineering teams in integrating secure practices and tools into their development processes.
Secure RESTful and gRPC APIs through robust authentication, authorization, and input validation.
Implement policy-based authorization mechanisms and manage identity protocols like OAuth and JWT.
Manage cryptographic protocols including TLS/SSL, digital signatures, and encryption for data security.
Respond to and mitigate security incidents effectively within the production environment.

What we're looking for

7+ years of software development or production operations experience in a large-scale environment.
5+ years of experience writing production code in Golang.
Proven experience building and operating large scale, highly available, distributed, and fault tolerant systems.
Excellent understanding of operating system concepts including multi-threading, memory management, networking, storage, performance, and scale.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization (CNCF Kubernetes Developer or equivalent).
Knowledge of securing RESTful and gRPC APIs through input validation, authentication, and authorization.
Knowledge of identity protocols like OAuth and JWT, as well as cryptographic algorithms and TLS/SSL.
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
