Senior Software Engineer Fullstack

What you'll do

• Build end-to-end features across backend services, APIs, data models, web front ends, and Android mobile applications.
• Master unfamiliar platforms and codebases quickly, including the transition into Android and Kotlin development.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and resilient code for both web and mobile interfaces.
• Take full ownership of the development lifecycle, including testing, instrumentation, on-call rotations, and code cleanup.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development workflows and improve overall team productivity.
• Translate customer needs into product features while navigating shifting priorities in a startup-like environment.
• Write technical designs and collaborate with cross-functional partners to move products into customers' hands quickly.

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of shipping meaningful products with clear technical and business impact.
• Fullstack experience owning features from backend services and APIs through to the client.
• Solid backend fundamentals in Java, Kotlin, or similar including distributed systems and API design.
• Proficiency in modern web front-end development using React or similar frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new languages, frameworks, or platforms quickly to ship production code.
• Experience in 0 to 1 builds with comfort navigating shifting priorities and incomplete requirements.
• Strong communication skills to write technical designs and collaborate with product and design partners.
• Ability to use AI tools to accelerate development workflow and improve delivery speed.
• Android development experience, specifically with Kotlin or Java (preferred).
• Experience in early-stage products, internal incubations, or rapid experimentation teams (preferred).
• Experience with point-of-sale, payments, hardware-adjacent, or offline-first systems (preferred).
