What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and test software for TACDS products within the Crypto & Cross Domain Solutions group.
  • Lead the full software development life cycle to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
  • Apply technical standards and methodologies to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Develop applications for Linux environments including Embedded Linux, VxWorks, RTOS, or Yocto.
  • Implement security features using SELinux and other cross-domain solution technologies.
  • Utilize programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Java, Python, or Rust to build software.
  • Manage source code and version control using Git and GitLab.
  • Identify and integrate AI opportunities for continuous process improvement and innovation.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related STEM field with 8 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6 years of experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, C#, Java, Python, or Rust (preferred).
  • Experience with Linux application development, SELinux, and Embedded Linux (preferred).
  • Experience with VxWorks, RTOS, CDS, ESXi, or YOCTOL (preferred).
  • Experience with Git, GitLab, BASH, sed, and awk (preferred).
  • Demonstrated success leading the software development life cycle and applying technical standards to solve challenges (preferred).
