What you'll do

  • Design, build, and operate scalable backend services and APIs that meet high standards for reliability and performance.

  • Integrate AI agents into human workflows while maintaining shared system context for reliable automated operations.
  • Evaluate both human and AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance.

What we're looking for

  • You must have 6+ years of professional software development experience owning production systems end-to-end.
  • You must be proficient in at least one backend language such as Go, Java, Python, or Rust and have experience with distributed systems.
  • You must have experience designing and operating RESTful or gRPC services, including database design and query optimization.
  • You must have experience deploying and operating services in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • You must have a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, and modern software delivery workflows.
  • You must possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • You must demonstrate an AI-first approach including advanced prompt engineering and experience with tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure-as-Code, observability tooling, or high-compliance environments is preferred.
