Senior Software Engineer, Embedded Linux for Edge

What you'll do

• Define and expose the capabilities of Jetson platforms to bring AI at-the-edge solutions to life.
• Contribute to hardware platform analysis, boot firmware, Linux kernel development, and specialized software SDKs.
• Design system-level software architectures for complex system-on-module embedded platform designs.
• Build and improve system services to ensure scalability, reliability, efficiency, and security.
• Resolve complex system-level optimization and resource utilization challenges.
• Develop high-quality software using C, C++, Python, and Bash.
• Manage the development of complete Board Support Packages (BSP) for product release.
• Perform security assessments on products and architectures to ensure robust security principles.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Science or a Master’s degree with over 5 years of experience in Linux and advanced embedded systems development.
• 8+ years of industry experience developing and sustaining commercially available embedded products through a full product lifecycle.
• Strong technical collaboration abilities and the capability to guide multiple teams.
• Proven success in problem-solving, analytical skills, and achieving performance objectives.
• Hands-on development of high-quality software using C, C++, Python, and Bash.
• Experience with Linux Kernel, device driver creation, and open-source projects (preferred).
• Experience developing complete platform Board Support Packages (BSP) for release (preferred).
• Knowledge of GPU/Graphics drivers, X11, security principles, Jenkins pipelines, and OTA (preferred).
