What you'll do

  • Design and deliver agentic workflows and backend services for Core OS development.
  • Build and operate high-performance backend services that power internal development workflows.
  • Create evaluation harnesses to measure and ensure the quality of automated workflows.
  • Identify impactful workflow opportunities by partnering directly with Core OS engineering teams.
  • Prototype and ship new tools and APIs for agentic systems to use in production.
  • Develop a developer platform that integrates agentic tools across the organization.
  • Maintain the reliability and performance of internal infrastructure as adoption scales.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of experience developing and shipping production software using Python, Swift, or Go.
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience building agentic workflows or systems powered by large language models (LLMs).
  • Experience designing and building backend services and APIs.
  • Working knowledge of distributed systems fundamentals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a passion for developer tooling and product quality.
  • Experience with agent tooling, including tool/function calling, Model Context Protocol (MCP), or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) (preferred).
  • Experience with evaluation frameworks for agent quality, such as benchmarks, regression tests, and confidence scoring (preferred).
  • Experience building developer tooling, CI systems, build systems, or tools adopted by other teams (preferred).
