This role requires strong knowledge of software integration, API design, and DevOps practices, contributing to the scalable and sustainable development of CAT’s global services applications.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop scalable software applications for cloud and distributed computing systems.

  • Integrate existing applications with a newly developed single capability within the Service Information System.
  • Create and maintain program documentation to ensure clarity and consistency in development processes.
  • Collaborate on infrastructure components that deliver business value features for multiple applications or systems.
  • Perform integrated testing and customer acceptance testing to ensure timely, quality software delivery.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience designing scalable architecture for Java-based applications.
  • Strong expertise in Spring Boot and AWS/Azure cloud platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of object-oriented design, patterns, and software architecture.
  • Experience with databases (SQL), ORM tools, and Snowflake data warehouse.
  • Proficiency in agile development methodologies, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and perform code reviews.
