What you'll do

Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency microservices and distributed systems using Go, Java, Python, or C++.
Drive architectural decisions, data models, and API contracts for resilient and fault-tolerant backend infrastructure.
Partner with Product and Operations teams to define technical scope and ship complex logistics features.
Identify technical debt and architectural bottlenecks to guide the long-term scalability of the platform.
Mentor engineers across levels and conduct rigorous code and system design reviews.
Troubleshoot distributed system failures in production and monitor service health to improve availability.
Advocate for best practices in automated testing, security, code maintainability, and deployment pipelines.

What we're looking for

BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience.
Strong coding skills in one or more backend languages including Go, Java, Python, or C++.
Experience building and scaling microservices and distributed systems integrated with APIs.
Deep understanding of system performance, API design, and data modeling.
Experience with backend testing practices including unit, integration, and end-to-end.
Knowledge of data structures and algorithms and the ability to use them practically (preferred).
Experience with MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle, and knowledge of the logistics industry (preferred).
