Senior Software Development Engineer, Payload SW, System Test Automation and Regression

What you'll do

• Architect and develop automated test frameworks to validate satellite payload software at scale.
• Design complex test sequences to synchronize hardware and software across multiple system layers.
• Own the CI/CD pipeline architecture to provide rapid feedback on every code and firmware change.
• Develop technical roadmaps for automation features and performance improvements.
• Analyze test results to identify systemic failure patterns and improve coverage reliability.
• Create dashboards and monitoring tools to track system health and data pipeline integrity.
• Mentor engineers and establish coding standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Lead design reviews and technical discussions to ensure high quality across the engineering team.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status for export control compliance.
• At least 5 years of professional software development experience using modern languages like Java, C++, or C#.
• At least 5 years of experience in leading the design and architecture of new and existing systems.
• At least 3 years of experience building test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience serving as a mentor, technical lead, or leader of an engineering team.
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of communication theory, RF engineering, or wireless communication systems is preferred.
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test environments and CI/CD pipeline architecture is preferred.
