Senior Software Development Engineer

What you'll do

• Diagnose and resolve application incidents including system errors, data issues, and integration failures.
• Manage and enhance application monitoring dashboards, alerts, and health checks.
• Perform routine system health checks, environment validations, and log reviews to proactively identify issues.
• Participate in release planning, deployment activities, and post-deployment validation.
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles, SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and runbooks.
• Analyze support trends and user feedback to identify opportunities for performance and reliability improvements.
• Support compliance and audit activities by collecting documentation and evidence.
• Contribute to establishing and improving SLOs, SLIs, and performance baselines.

What we're looking for

• 3–5 years of experience in application support, technical support, or a related IT role.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms (preferred).
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification (preferred).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, or CloudWatch (preferred).
• Basic understanding of SRE principles including incident management, alerting, SLIs/SLOs, and observability (preferred).
• Experience with SQL, log analysis, or scripting in PowerShell or Python (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred), or equivalent technical training or relevant professional experience (preferred).
