What you'll do

  • Lead the development and implementation of security engineering solutions for infrastructure automation, cloud governance, and secure onboarding.
  • Design and maintain security guardrails using Terraform, including policy-as-code solutions and related automation tools.
  • Develop automation tools in Java and Python to streamline developer workflows and minimize manual tasks.
  • Embed automated security controls into engineering teams' workflows to simplify operational tasks and reduce friction for developers.
  • Mentor engineers on IaC best practices, cloud identity management, and least privilege principles.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in engineering and/or security roles.
  • Extensive AWS expertise, including guardrails and detective controls development.
  • Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, policy-as-code solutions.
  • Experience automating AWS guardrails and baseline configurations.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS IAM components (roles, permission boundaries).
  • Solid software engineering skills in Python, Go, or Java for automation.
  • Ability to write secure, maintainable, and testable code efficiently.
