What you'll do

Conduct security reviews and develop threat models for new products and features.
Act as the primary security point of contact for large engineering projects throughout the development lifecycle.
Design and implement secure platforms and backend infrastructure for internet-facing services.
Develop proof of concept systems to automate security recommendations, vulnerability discovery, and workflows.
Identify areas for improvement and establish specific security goals for partner teams.
Use data to drive security review efficiency and prioritize high-value engagement.
Advise engineering partners on making informed risk decisions and implementing workable secure designs.

What we're looking for

10 or more years of experience conducting security reviews, threat modeling, tracking findings, and communicating risk to engineering and leadership.
Knowledge of distributed systems design patterns and security implications for cloud-scale platform services.
Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture and managed platform services like compute, storage, networking, and databases.
Experience with multi-tenant system design and securing multi-tenant software as a service and platform as a service offerings.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or Swift.
Experience with security standard processes of third-party cloud environments.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (preferred).
Experience with container orchestration systems, AI/ML, and community contributions like CVEs or open source tools (preferred).
