Senior Scientist, Process Development

What you'll do

• Develop biocatalytic platforms and workflows aligned with process chemistry objectives.
• Apply expertise in enzyme screening, protein engineering, reaction kinetics, and scale-up.
• Design and execute independent experiments for enzymatic transformations of APIs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic laboratory notebooks for all experiments.
• Contribute innovative ideas for enzymatic and organic transformations in API synthesis.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design novel enzyme-enabled processes.
• Prepare research reports, technical presentations, and external publications.

What we're looking for

• PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Biology with 0–5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Hands-on experience applying enzymes in a laboratory setting.
• Expertise in designing and optimizing biocatalytic reactions.
• Experience conducting high-throughput enzyme screening.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills for technical presentations and publications.
• Familiarity with complex data analysis techniques.
