As a Senior Researcher - Security within the Security Research Group at Microsoft Research Redmond, you will join a team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of data-driven security. What you'll do

What we're looking for

A Doctorate in a relevant field is required.
A Master's Degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of related research experience are accepted.
A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field and 4+ years of related research experience are accepted.
Equivalent experience to the listed degrees and years may be considered.
Experience in security, machine learning, data mining, or systems is preferred.
Experience with large-scale data, including log analysis, streaming data, or distributed processing is preferred.
Demonstrated foundations in machine learning or statistical modeling are preferred.
Ability to independently drive research projects from formulation through implementation and dissemination is required.
