This role demands a passion for driving technology innovations into NVIDIA’s software and hardware products to support the rapidly growing quantum computing ecosystem.

What you'll do

  • Develop novel approaches to decoding quantum error correction codes and their logical operations.
  • Research advanced implementations of quantum error correction in hardware.
  • Co-design improved methods for achieving more scalable decoders.
  • Collaborate on developing technology components for a fault-tolerant software stack integrated with quantum hardware.
  • Path-find technical innovations in Quantum Error Correction and Fault Tolerance.

What we're looking for

  • Masters degree in Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, or related field (Ph.D. preferred)
  • Extensive background in Quantum Information Science with over 6 years of experience in Quantum Computing industry
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high impact value in quantum error correction and decoding
  • Hands-on experience in scientific computing, high-performance computing, applied machine learning, or deep learning
  • Experience with co-design of quantum error correction with quantum hardware or applications
  • Familiarity with CUDA and NVIDIA GPUs
