The role requires expertise in Quantum Information Science, scientific computing, high-performance computing, applied machine learning, and deep learning. Candidates should possess skills in CUDA and NVIDIA GPUs while addressing the technical challenge of bringing theoretical error correction into practical application for large-scale quantum systems.

What you'll do

  • Path-find technical innovations in Quantum Error Correction and Fault Tolerance.
  • Develop novel approaches to decoding quantum error correction codes and their logical operations.
  • Research advanced implementations of quantum error correction in hardware.
  • Co-design improved methods to achieve more scaled decoders.
  • Develop technology components for a fault-tolerant software stack integrated with quantum hardware.
  • Translate theoretical quantum information science into practical, scalable technologies.

What we're looking for

  • Master's degree in Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Applied Mathematics, or a related engineering field is required.
  • A Ph.D. is preferred for this position.
  • Candidates must have an extensive background in Quantum Information Science.
  • Experience in the Quantum Computing industry is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high impact value in quantum error correction and decoding is required.
  • Experience in scientific computing, high-performance computing, applied machine learning, or deep learning is preferred.
  • Experience with co-design of quantum error correction with quantum hardware or applications is preferred.
  • Experience with CUDA and NVIDIA GPUs is preferred.
