As a Senior Project Engineer in Invenergy’s Grid Modeling and Compliance team, you will lead power system and equipment modeling activities to ensure compliance with grid codes for renewable energy projects nationwide. Your daily tasks include conducting detailed studies using software tools like PSS/E, PSLF, PSCAD, and ASPEN Oneliner to evaluate project performance and coordinate with engineering firms and OEMs on modeling work. You will develop power system models for various renewable generation facilities such as wind, solar, battery storage systems, and HVDC transmission links, while also tuning control systems in collaboration with manufacturers.
