What you'll do

Design, implement, and test solutions for high-throughput, low-latency microservices.
Enhance system observability through the implementation of metrics, monitors, and alerts.
Translate product user stories into actionable technical tasks.
Take ownership of specific domain areas within the linear advertising platform.
Develop and evaluate prompts and workflows for LLM-based APIs.
Build and support agentic workflows including multi-step and multi-agent orchestration patterns.
Participate in on-call rotations to manage system escalations and support schedules.

What we're looking for

BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant work experience.
5+ years of software engineering experience.
Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, and ORMs.
Experience with ReactJS or similar frontend frameworks.
Experience with relational databases (MySQL/Postgres) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB/Redis).
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS), DevOps tools (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes), and data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, SNS/SQS).
Familiarity with Python and AI coding tools to develop LLM-based APIs and agentic workflows.
Domain knowledge in the Ad Tech industry.
