What you'll do

  • Define the vision, strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for Windows security compliance capabilities.
  • Serve as a technical security expert to influence engineering decisions across platforms and supply chains.
  • Identify security and compliance gaps to drive investments that improve Windows' regulatory readiness.
  • Translate complex regulatory requirements into scalable platform features and engineering solutions.
  • Partner with engineers to design secure-by-design and AI-enabled capabilities for better audit readiness.
  • Drive compliance readiness for specific frameworks including FedRAMP, FIPS, and various cybersecurity executive orders.
  • Use data-driven insights and success metrics to drive adoption and continuous improvement in auditability.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development (or equivalent experience).
  • 6+ years of experience in Product Management, Security Engineering, Security Architecture, Technical Program Management, or related fields (preferred).
  • Solid technical expertise in platform, services, application, infrastructure security, and secure software supply chains (preferred).
  • Ability to serve as a trusted Security SME influencing architecture, product strategy, and engineering decisions (preferred).
  • Knowledge of security architecture, secure development practices, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and security assurance principles (preferred).
  • Experience driving product strategy for security, platform, infrastructure, or developer-focused technologies (preferred).
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as EU CRA, Cybersecurity EO, NIST, FedRAMP, FIPS, PQC/CNSA, or similar (preferred).
  • Experience with operating systems, cloud services, and AI/ML security considerations (preferred).
