What you'll do

Drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Open Mainframe Solutions to align with value stream goals.
Act as the primary intermediary between market requirements and R&D teams to advocate for product initiatives.
Partner with Product Owners and Architecture teams to prioritize features and translate customer needs into functional stories.
Explore and integrate new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning into the product roadmap.
Identify and remove roadblocks across cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality standards and timely delivery.
Lead Go-To-Market initiatives to drive product adoption and measure success through key performance indicators.
Present product strategy and results to executive stakeholders at the CXO level.
Maintain relationships with customers, partners, and service providers to ensure long-term retention.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
12+ years of experience in product, service, project, program management, or enterprise software development.
Deep understanding of the mainframe software industry, open source projects, and community initiatives.
Deep understanding of software solutions built on open technologies like Linux, GIT, and Python.
Advanced understanding of B2B business models, software licensing, and product delivery.
Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional, and cross-disciplinary projects with strong stakeholder management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of executive-level presentations.
