TL;DR · Senior Product Manager, AI Software Defined Networking

As a Senior Product Manager, AI Software Defined Networking, you will join the SDN team to develop an open, upstream-first stack providing bare-metal performance and multi-tenant isolation for VMs, Kubernetes pods, and hosts. You will define the product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap for the AI Factory SDN stack, covering North/South tenant networking, East/West GPUDirect networking over Spectrum-X, OVN-Kubernetes CNI, and OVN host networking. Your daily work involves guiding upstream development across OVN, OVS, and OVN-Kubernetes while aligning these with internal releases. You will manage requirements, resolve architectural trade-offs, and map dependencies across DPU, fabric, and virtualization teams. The role requires expertise in BGP/EVPN, VxLAN, RoCE, and hardware-offloaded data planes on DPUs or SmartNICs to solve complex networking challenges within the AI Factory infrastructure for cloud partners and ISVs.

  • Deep knowledge of network fundamentals including overlays/underlays, VRF, VxLAN, BGP/EVPN, ACLs, NAT, routing, and load balancing.
  • Familiarity with OVN/OVS and mapping logical networking to hardware-offloaded data planes on DPUs or SmartNICs.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes as a networking delivery surface, including the CNI model, CRDs, and pod/VM provisioning.
  • Proven track record of crafting multi-quarter product visions and shipping networking or infrastructure products with engineering teams.
