What you'll do

Architect and validate mechanical designs balancing structural rigidity, thermal performance, cost, and reliability.
Lead the mechanical architecture and technical strategy for next-generation desktop and AI PC platforms.
Serve as the primary technical authority to influence product strategy and design direction in cross-functional forums.
Conduct advanced investigations, technology assessments, and prototype development to align with long-term platform goals.
Identify and resolve technical risks to ensure a clear path toward successful product production.
Utilize data and engineering insights to improve development predictability and execution efficiency.
Mentor and develop engineering talent by providing technical guidance and career support.

What we're looking for

Deep expertise in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, system shock and vibration requirements, and thermal design.
Strong understanding of system-level trade-offs across electrical, mechanical, thermal, shock/vibration, and reliability domains.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex programs to completion.
Recent experience in mechanical part and product design.
Experience mentoring engineers and fostering team development.
12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8+ years with a Master's degree; or equivalent experience (preferred).
Experience in fixed and desktop system architecture, collaborating with global engineering teams and ODM partners (preferred).
Proficiency with industry-standard simulation and design tools such as Creo and Ansys MCAD/MBD analysis tools (preferred).

Save
