The Senior Platform Software Engineer joins a new engineering team to build a platform for Agentic Service Engineering. This system enables teams to understand services, automate repeatable engineering work, and safely operate production software using AI by integrating service context, code, operational knowledge, workflows, testing, and guardrails. You will design and deliver core platform capabilities, including agent orchestration, service knowledge, developer workflows, evaluation, and production-grade safety controls. You will own substantial technical components end to end, making architecture decisions and partnering with service teams to transform manual work into reusable platform capabilities. Required skills include expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Distributed Software Development, Platform Architecture, Platform Development, and Software Platform Development. You will perform deep debugging, implement resilience patterns, and manage API versioning and lifecycle strategies.

What you'll do

Own a bounded platform component and evolve its contracts for multi-tenant use.
Design and develop software solutions, systems, and services aligned to pre-defined architecture.
Implement targeted resilience, capacity patterns, and performance optimization strategies.
Conduct debugging, troubleshooting, and performance profiling to resolve complex software issues.
Develop and maintain API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies.

Perform periodic maintenance and testing for systems requiring upgrades or security patches.
Translate manual, service-specific work into reusable platform capabilities and developer workflows.
