Senior Offensive Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Plan and execute red team exercises that simulate real-world attack scenarios across applications, infrastructure, and physical environments.
• Perform threat modeling and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in corporate and technical systems.
• Develop scripts and tools to automate security testing activities and improve internal processes.
• Partner with detection and response teams to conduct adversarial simulations and improve incident readiness.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and work with engineering teams to remediate identified risks.
• Mentor and provide guidance to members of the Offensive Security team.
• Lead security incidents when penetration test or red team findings require immediate action.

What we're looking for

• 6+ years of experience conducting red team operations or advanced penetration testing.
• Experience mentoring or supporting the development of other security engineers.
• Proficiency in reading and writing Python, Go, and JavaScript.
• Experience with MacOS and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of network protocols (DNS, TCP/IP) and defensive tools like IDS/IPS, Packet Capture, and EDR.
• Deep understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework and security fundamentals of access and identity.
• Experience attacking modern software stacks including CI, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud providers (AWS, GCP).
• Experience in the Financial Technology domain (preferred); experience as a technical lead at other organizations (preferred).
