JOB TITLE: Senior Networking Resident Engineer - Top Secret Clearance Required - Alexandria, VA (Onsite) The Senior Networking Resident Engineer joins the Service Delivery organization as an on-site resident engineer. In this role, you will support SRX, QFX, and EX platforms within a large enterprise environment. Your daily responsibilities include planning network deployments, developing implementation plans, performing solution testing, and providing professional support for new networking installations. You will act as the primary point of contact for operational issues, engaging Juniper technical assistance centers to resolve complex problems. The position requires deep knowledge of stateful firewall services, routing, switching technologies, and traffic engineering including QoS. You will utilize your expertise in engineering design and architecture to maintain enterprise networks while providing clear documentation and troubleshooting for the customer.

What you'll do

Operate and maintain an enterprise network environment.
Support SRX, QFX, and EX platforms in an enterprise setting.
Develop implementation plans and perform testing for new network deployments.
Act as the primary point of contact for resolving operational issues.
Engage Juniper technical assistance centers to resolve complex technical problems.
Provide professional support for the installation of new networking hardware.
Create clear documentation and technical information to support network operations.
Consult with customers on major network changes and project planning.

What we're looking for

Must possess a Top Secret security clearance.
Must be a United States citizen.
Minimum 7+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
Intermediate to expert understanding of stateful firewalls, routing, and switching with traffic engineering support.
Experience with engineering design, architecture, operations, and support in a medium to large enterprise environment.
Experience with Juniper products (SRX, QFX, EX) is a plus.
Bachelor's degree is desirable (preferred).
US Citizenship.
