What you'll do

Design and maintain network infrastructure for enterprise systems and data pipelines.
Configure and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN solutions.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure stable connectivity.
Ensure network designs comply with security policies and operational requirements.
Prepare and execute a System Engineering Plan (SEP) for managing system engineering aspects.

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience in enterprise network infrastructure engineering and maintenance in DoD or Federal environments.
Proficient in routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF), network security (NGFW, IDS/IPS), load balancing, and secure segmentation.
Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP and network automation tools like Ansible, Terraform.
Current DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification appropriate for Intermediate/System Administrator roles.
Knowledge of security policies and compliance requirements, including systems engineering and architecture practices.
Expertise in network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
