What you'll do

Design and develop voice, video, radio frequency, and data communications networks.
Engineer and implement network solutions including LANs, WANs, VPNs, and point-to-point connections.
Oversee server systems, storage, and backup infrastructure as a network systems engineer.
Troubleshoot port security issues, VLAN problems, and general network outages.
Manage network data flows, firewall rules, and overall network management activities.
Propose and implement upgrades to existing resources to improve capability, reliability, and cost savings.
Create technical documentation for requirements, conceptual planning, system construction, and configuration changes.
Conduct engineering studies on communication paths to determine bandwidth, throughput, and security requirements.

What we're looking for

Must be a United States citizen.
Must possess an active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in a field applicable to the work.
6+ years of related experience.
Must be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2 preferred).
Must be 8570 compliant (IAT Level 2) by the date of security indoctrination.
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification (preferred).
Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
