Senior ML Engineer, Robotics, Special Projects

What you'll do

• Design and implement AI/ML robotic systems to solve real-world problems.
• Evaluate and debug complex AI systems to ensure reliability.
• Integrate intricate AI systems into a larger software stack.
• Build complete prototypes that continuously improve system performance.
• Train and fine-tune multimodal foundational models for robotics applications.
• Develop reinforcement learning models specifically for robotic use cases.
• Optimize ML models and mathematical algorithms for mobile and resource-constrained environments.
• Implement features involving multi-view geometry, camera calibration, and 3D reconstruction pipelines.

What we're looking for

• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Math, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong software engineering background and ability to implement practical solutions for large features.
• Experience building complete prototypes that continuously improve system performance.
• Familiarity with the full robotics stack including controls, perception, planning, and navigation.
• Familiarity with modern ML approaches such as VLMs, LLMs, Diffusion models, and Reinforcement Learning.
• Proficiency using deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Experience in training multimodal foundational models or optimizing algorithms for resource-constrained environments.
