Senior Robot ML Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement AI/ML systems to solve real-world problems.
• Evaluate and debug complex AI systems.
• Integrate intricate AI systems into a larger software stack.
• Break down large features into practical, implementable solutions.
• Apply modern ML approaches including LLMs, VLMs, and Diffusion Models.
• Implement robot planning and decision-making algorithms like POMDPs and intent prediction.
• Develop classical robotic algorithms including optimization and graph search.
• Work across the full robotics stack including controls, perception, and motion planning.

What we're looking for

• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Math, or a related field.
• Strong software engineering background.
• Ability to break down large features and implement practical solutions.
• Strong proficiency with modern ML approaches such as LLMs, VLMs, VLAs, and Diffusion Models.
• Strong proficiency with robot planning and decision making (preferred).
• Strong proficiency with classical robotic algorithms like optimization and graph search (preferred).
• Familiarity with the full robotics stack including controls, perception, and motion planning (preferred).
• Familiarity with Swift and Apple developer tools (preferred).
