What you'll do

  • Optimize map parsing and query APIs under real-time constraints on NVIDIA platforms.
  • Design low-latency interfaces for lane geometry and routing graph queries in autonomous driving software.
  • Integrate cloud-generated maps with on-vehicle stacks to validate map quality and measure performance impact.
  • Create Python and C++ tools for testing, validating, debugging, and profiling map data on vehicles.
  • Support cloud mapping pipelines using Airflow, Python, and other tools for map generation and validation.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience in developing in-vehicle firmware or map-to-vehicle integration for autonomous driving.
  • Strong C++ programming skills for performance-critical embedded systems and real-time constraints.
  • Proficiency in Python for tooling, testing, and automation in cloud mapping pipelines.
  • Experience with embedded platforms like NVIDIA Orin, Xavier, QNX, and understanding of real-time operating environments.
  • Deep knowledge of autonomous vehicle software architectures and map consumption by localization, perception, and planning systems.
  • Expertise in debugging and profiling performance on memory-constrained embedded hardware.
  • Understanding of SD & HD mapping data formats and experience with Protocol Buffers for efficient data serialization.
