What you'll do

  • Lead technical projects to design, build, commission, and qualify new equipment for drug substance production.
  • Develop process control automation solutions using Emerson DeltaV Distributed Control System (DCS) for manufacturing processes.
  • Manage day-to-day operational support including troubleshooting and on-call duties for automation systems.
  • Provide mentoring to develop site technical automation capabilities and accelerate team growth.
  • Prepare and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cGMP documents for compliance.

What we're looking for

  • Extensive experience with Emerson DeltaV and process control network design.
  • Direct knowledge of integrating OEM automation software and field instrumentation technologies.
  • Experience in upstream/downstream/solution prep unit operations in biopharmaceutical production.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards such as 21 CFR Part 11, GMP, and GDP.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or Biotech Engineering.
  • Experience in capital project lifecycle management from conceptual to validation stages.
