Senior Manufacturing Process Development Engineer, Intelligence Systems

What you'll do

• Design and optimize manual assembly processes for high-volume production environments.
• Create comprehensive manufacturing work instructions and process documentation with visual aids.
• Engineer and optimize dispensing operations for adhesives, sealants, and thermal materials.
• Provide real-time lineside support to resolve process deviations and maintain production flow.
• Perform root cause analysis to implement corrective actions and improve manufacturing processes.
• Develop and validate process parameters while establishing clear control limits for quality assurance.
• Support new product introductions by scaling manufacturing processes from prototype to full production.
• Participate in design reviews to provide feedback on manufacturability and assembly optimization.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing process development, preferably in a high-reliability industry (preferred).
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Expertise in creating detailed work instructions and manufacturing process documentation.
• Experience optimizing manual assembly operations and dispensing technologies for adhesives or sealants.
• Proficiency with CAD software for assembly documentation and tooling design.
• Ability to improve processes using lean manufacturing principles, Statistical Process Control (preferred), and Six Sigma certifications (preferred).
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles (preferred).
