The Senior Manager, Technical Product Management joins the Therapeutics Discovery Information Technology team to establish and lead a Business Analysis capability. This leadership role involves recruiting, mentoring, and developing a team of Business Analysts while defining standards, methods, and best practices for the practice. The individual will manage high-impact business analysis engagements, conducting discovery activities to evaluate opportunities and translate scientific, operational, and technical needs into actionable delivery plans. Key responsibilities include facilitating stakeholder discussions with scientists and software teams, managing requirements, and designing future-state processes. The role requires expertise in process modeling, Agile delivery, and requirement management within a domain involving laboratory, automation, data, artificial intelligence, and digital technology environments. Candidates must possess strong skills in strategic thinking, executive communication, and cross-functional collaboration to support the broader Therapeutics Discovery portfolio.
Establish and mature the Business Analysis capability within Therapeutics Discovery Information Technology.
Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of Business Analysts across multiple experience levels.
Define standards, templates, methods, and best practices for business analysis activities.
Translate scientific, operational, and technical needs into actionable recommendations and delivery plans.
Facilitate discussions with scientists and technology teams to align requirements and accelerate decision-making.
Lead process analysis, future-state design, and requirements management for the product portfolio.
Align Business Analysis resources to priority initiatives across the Therapeutics Discovery portfolio.
Create sustainable methods for retaining and reusing business knowledge across programs and projects.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, Management Consulting, Business Process Analysis, or related disciplines.
Demonstrated experience building, leading, or maturing Business Analysis organizations, Centers of Excellence, or Communities of Practice.
Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving business and technology stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to influence decisions and drive outcomes in complex organizations.
Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, research, or scientific organizations (preferred).
Experience with laboratory, scientific, automation, data, AI, digital technology, process modeling, requirements management, Agile, or organizational change (preferred).
