Senior Manager, Study Data Architecture

What you'll do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team focused on accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of clinical study database builds across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Enforce database development standards and best practices to ensure compatibility with analytical tools and reporting platforms.
• Align clinical databases with organizational common data models to support downstream analytics and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on standardization, scalability, and automation of data processes.
• Manage resource allocation, workload distribution, and capacity planning to meet study and portfolio priorities.
• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for study database management capabilities and technology adoption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during protocol reviews and study startup activities to ensure accurate data collection requirements.

What we're looking for

• 7 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, computer science, information systems, or a related field (preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in data, systems, or operations within healthcare, life sciences, clinical research, or regulated industries (preferred).
• 3+ years of people leadership experience with success developing and coaching high-performing teams (preferred).
• Experience leading teams responsible for data collection systems, database configuration, or data operations (preferred).
• Experience implementing standards, processes, quality controls, and operational best practices (preferred).
• Strong understanding of data quality, governance, lifecycle concepts, and common data models (preferred).
