What you'll do

Develop and execute a comprehensive data management strategy for the Retail Banking division.
Lead the migration of data systems from on-premise implementations to a cloud-based AWS environment.
Oversee the design and execution of data controls and data quality monitoring practices.
Lead governance of data assets by developing formal governance plans and structures.
Define and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and escalate areas of non-compliance.
Drive innovations in data sources and tools, including the adoption of Big Data and cloud-native technologies.
Create a training program to enhance associate skill-sets and champion the adoption of data tools.
Manage a team of high-performing data professionals and report analysis activities to partner groups.

What we're looking for

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field plus 7 years of data analytics experience, or a Master’s degree plus 5 years of experience.
Must have at least 5 years of experience performing professional data analysis work.
Must have at least 5 years of experience leading and developing with open source data technologies.
Must have at least 2 years of experience managing people.
Must possess deep subject matter expertise in data management practices and risk management frameworks.
Master’s Degree or PhD in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field (preferred).
At least 7 years of experience in statistical or econometrics hands-on work (preferred).
At least 5 years of experience in financial services industry (preferred).
