What you'll do

Lead and manage a team of software engineers by providing technical direction, architecture guidance, and mentorship.
Define system requirements, architecture, timelines, and deliverables to drive technical strategy for software initiatives.
Own risk mitigation and production stability by identifying vulnerabilities and leading root cause analysis for complex issues.
Oversee the full software development lifecycle including design, testing, deployment, and adherence to secure coding practices.
Translate functional requirements from cross-functional stakeholders into technical solutions while managing delivery pipelines.
Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies and frameworks through proof-of-concepts to improve performance and developer productivity.
Build high-performing teams by hiring talent, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a culture of technical excellence.

What we're looking for

7+ years of overall software engineering experience with at least 5+ years leading projects or managing direct reports.
7+ years of experience using or managing projects involving Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka on cloud platforms.
3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization without direct authority.
3+ years of experience defining technology strategy for AI/ML, cloud services, and automation in large-scale environments.
Strong expertise in cloud platforms, distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and modern software development practices.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience).
Experience with retail or healthcare industry background in fulfillment, dispensing, and delivery (preferred).
Experience developing in AWS, GCP, or Azure environments (GCP preferred) (preferred).
