Senior Manager, Product Operations

What you'll do

• Lead and grow the Product Operations function by managing multiple teams, hiring, and defining organizational standards.
• Own the quality of product support delivered to both external customers and internal Anduril teams.
• Scale support operations across the portfolio by establishing infrastructure and escalation paths for new products.
• Align support headcount and resources to measured support volume, fielded asset population, and delivery schedules.
• Manage the failure signal workflow to convert field incidents into structured data for engineering improvements.
• Establish standards for triaging, diagnosing, and resolving product incidents across complex electromechanical systems.
• Serve as the primary interface for program teams to define service costs, contract structures, and pricing.
• Brief executive stakeholders on fleet health, reliability trends, and sustainment costs through recurring reviews.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of professional experience managing and supporting complex technical systems in robotics, aerospace, defense, or automotive domains.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on technical experience in military, industrial, or field support.
• Experience leading managers and multi-team organizations with accountability for outcomes across more than one product line or program.
• Experience owning incident-driven workflows including triage, diagnosis, severity assignment, escalation, and resolution across a fielded fleet.
• Technical depth to follow engineers supporting robotic and electromechanical systems across hardware, software, and networking boundaries.
• Demonstrated familiarity with product improvement or reliability lifecycles and processes.
• Experience defining sustainment models for fielded hardware including maintenance, spares, and tooling or self-service investments.
• Experience building quantitative models to size support demand, headcount, or cost for annual planning.
• Program management ability to decompose requirements into deliverables and drive results across multiple functions.
• Proven ability to align senior cross-functional leadership and brief executive stakeholders on operational performance.
• Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Active or eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security clearance.
• Experience establishing a product support or sustainment function from the ground up (preferred).
• Defense, law enforcement, or government experience leading air defense, intelligence, or force protection teams (preferred).
• Formal training or certification in continuous improvement or project management disciplines like Lean, Six Sigma, or PMP (preferred).
• Fluency with structured root cause methods such as fault tree analysis, fishbone, or 8D problem solving (preferred).
• Working knowledge of reliability engineering fundamentals including failure distributions and mean time between failure (preferred).
• Hands-on exposure to failure behavior of fielded robotic systems including actuation, power, and radar (preferred).
• Comfort reading logs and telemetry using Linux, Grafana, Datadog, Jira, Git, SQL, and Palantir Foundry (preferred).
• Experience translating support scope into contract or pricing structures for operations and sustainment (preferred).
• Fluency with incident management systems, asset data, service bill of materials, and cost association (preferred).
• Experience in on-call support operations and limited risk tolerance environments (preferred).
