The Senior Manager, Product Management, Google Automation joins the Product Management team to lead the strategy and development of the Google Workspace automation ecosystem. This role involves governing the entire automation landscape, bridging personal productivity with enterprise-scale innovation for over 100,000 associates. Key responsibilities include owning the roadmap for the Google API Enablement platform, scaling machine access for high-volume applications, and empowering citizen developers to automate low-code workflows. You will manage diverse tools including Apps Script, AppSheet, Add-Ons, and Chrome Extensions while ensuring security via Workload Identity Federation and third-party proxies. The position requires technical curiosity to solve complex problems involving API connections, secure personal access tokens, and integrations with platforms like EMP and Databricks to drive enterprise AI and automation use cases.
Own the roadmap for the Google API Enablement platform to create a self-service hub for API connections.
Scale machine access for technical teams to integrate high-volume applications with Google APIs.
Eliminate manual exception processes to enable enterprise AI and automation use cases across the company.
Guide the strategy for human access to provide analysts with secure tokens for low-code workflows.
Govern the integration and management of Apps Script, AppSheet, and third-party automation tools.
Partner with Risk and Cyber teams to ensure all API calls are authenticated and audited.
Drive the overall strategy and development of Capital One’s automation strategy for Google Workspace.
What we're looking for
Must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field, Business, Marketing, or a Bachelor's in any field with 4 years of Product Management experience.
Must be able to lead the strategy and development of the Google Workspace automation ecosystem.
Must be able to define the roadmap for the Google API Enablement platform.
Must be able to scale machine access for technical teams to integrate with Google APIs.
Must be able to guide the strategy for Human Access and low-code workflows using tools like EMP and Databricks.
Must be able to govern the integration of Apps Script, AppSheet, and third-party integrations.
Must be able to partner with Risk and Cyber teams to ensure API security via Workload Identity Federation.
Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products (preferred).
