As a Senior Manager in Platform Software Engineering, you will lead a team of software engineers with strong SRE backgrounds to build, operate, and evolve our platforms. Your day-to-day responsibilities include setting technical direction, driving accountability for reliability, performance, cost, and operational excellence, as well as partnering across teams to resolve complex issues and improve the developer experience. You will standardize middleware patterns and client libraries used by multiple consumer teams, establish group-level guardrails for APIs/SDKs, and sponsor shared observability frameworks. This role requires expertise in software architecture, performance optimization, API versioning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to align software design with business goals. Proficiency in technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services like AWS or Azure is essential, along with strong leadership skills for managing priorities and influencing stakeholders.
