What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to create solutions meeting regulatory needs.
Drive end-to-end design and implementation of large-scale, distributed, or cloud-native systems with high reliability.
Manage multiple Agile engineering teams and provide strategic direction for large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.
Partner with product and architecture leaders to define multi-year technology roadmaps and investment priorities.
Develop and manage Lead Engineers while building succession plans and scaling leadership capability across teams.
Drive alignment between engineering execution and enterprise goals by influencing portfolio-level decisions and trade-offs.
Mentor engineering talent and participate in internal and external technology communities to stay current on trends.
Code or evaluate code as needed to support the development of robust cloud-based solutions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
At least 3 years of people management experience.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
9+ years of experience coding with more than two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala (preferred).
5+ years of experience with front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks (preferred).
5+ years of experience creating synchronous and asynchronous APIs (preferred).
