What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of distributed microservices and full-stack systems to meet regulatory requirements.
Manage and mentor a team of developers while building succession plans for leadership roles.
Deliver robust, cloud-based solutions using AWS tools and container orchestration like Docker and Kubernetes.
Provide strategic direction for multiple Agile engineering teams and large-scale cross-functional initiatives.
Partner with product and architecture leaders to define multi-year technology roadmaps and investment priorities.
Align engineering execution with enterprise goals by influencing portfolio-level decisions and trade-offs.
Oversee the end-to-end design and implementation of high-performance, cloud-native systems.
Evaluate code and stay current on emerging technologies and open-source frameworks.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
At least 3 years of people management experience.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
1+ year of experience leading architectural design reviews and influencing enterprise-wide technical standards and methodologies (preferred).
4+ years of experience with database and database management systems (preferred).
4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks (preferred).
