The successful candidate will apply advanced statistical methodologies and predictive modeling to real-world data sources, including electronic health records, administrative claims, registries, and secondary data. Core competencies include data science, epidemiology, bioinformatics, and computational biology. The role addresses the technical challenge of translating disease priorities into actionable research questions and providing methodological recommendations to support program decisions and regulatory-supporting analyses within the immunology therapeutic area.

What you'll do

  • Execute real-world and data science evidence plans aligned with Immunology disease and therapeutic area objectives.
  • Lead evidence generation workstreams to identify evidence gaps, patient subgroups, and novel endpoints for clinical development.
  • Apply data science and statistical methodologies to real-world data sources to address prioritized scientific questions.
  • Manage end-to-end project activities including data validation, protocol development, and results interpretation.
  • Serve as a technical subject-matter expert providing methodological recommendations to support program decision-making.
  • Prepare analytical summaries, presentations, and written materials for internal stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Contribute to scientific manuscripts, abstracts, and internal knowledge-sharing activities based on clinical and real-world analyses.
  • Support external scientific collaborations by providing real-world evidence expertise and joint project deliverables.

What we're looking for

  • PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent advanced degree in statistics, bioinformatics, epidemiology, computational biology, data science, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Master’s degree with substantial relevant experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience applying data science or real-world evidence methods within pharmaceutical R&D, healthcare analytics, consulting, or a related professional field.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within matrixed, cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with real-world data sources such as electronic health records, administrative claims, registries, or secondary data.
  • Strong stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting Immunology or related therapeutic area programs (preferred).
  • Hands-on delivery of research projects using advanced statistical methods, predictive modeling, or machine learning (preferred).
