What you'll do

Manage multiple Therapeutic Areas and oversee cross-functional initiatives.
Evaluate and implement technologies to improve performance and reduce costs.
Supervise and allocate internal and external resources within the Therapeutic Area.
Manage staff performance, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and talent retention.
Provide strategic direction and guidance to staff regarding operational responsibilities and best practices.
Oversee vendor deliverables to ensure SDTM standards meet quality and regulatory requirements.
Act as a subject matter expert and process owner for clinical data operations.
Practice continuous improvement of processes and technology usage across the organization.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, life sciences, or equivalent.
Master’s degree (preferred).
8+ years of experience with clinical database design, data loading, and database modeling concepts.
9+ years of experience in a similar technical or clinical development environment.
Intermediate SAS and/or SQL programming skills and expert knowledge of database concepts.
In-depth knowledge of CDASH and SDTM Standards and clinical trial processes.
Demonstrated ability to influence others, coach/mentor in a matrix environment, and communicate effectively.
Demonstrated effective analytical skills.
