What you'll do

Manage multiple Therapeutic Areas and oversee cross-functional initiatives.
Manage technology evaluations and implementations to improve performance and reduce costs.
Supervise and allocate internal and external resources within the Therapeutic Area.
Provide strategic direction and guidance to staff regarding operations and best practices.
Manage staff performance, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and talent retention.
Oversee vendor deliverables to ensure SDTM standards meet quality and regulatory requirements.
Practice continuous improvement of processes and technology usage.
Act as a subject matter expert and process owner for clinical data operations.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, life sciences, or equivalent.
Master’s degree (preferred).
8+ years of experience with clinical database design, data loading, and database modeling concepts.
9+ years of experience in a similar technical or clinical development environment.
Intermediate SAS and/or SQL programming skills and expert knowledge of database concepts.
In-depth knowledge of CDASH and SDTM Standards and clinical trial processes.
Demonstrated ability to influence others, coach/mentor in a matrix environment, and communicate effectively.
Demonstrated effective analytical skills.
